A day for families with international history
Workshop on 14 March 2026 | 14-17 | IBZ Bielefeld


The workshop "Ingrained and Connected" is aimed at families with international history as well as other caregivers. The aim is to strengthen children in their identity development, to give parents security in dealing with diversity and to promote common orientation in everyday family life.
Under the guidance of Nicole Amoussou and Sylvie Ngo Bigda, a space for exchange, practical impulses and joint learning is created.

Objectives and content


For parents

Suggestions for communication, participation and orientation in everyday family life
Exchange on diversity, multiple affiliations, privileges and discrimination
Reflecting on own experiences and strengthening the security of action

For children

Strengthening self-confidence
Developing a positive identity
Playful experience of belonging and self-efficacy
Pedagogically accompanied activities in a protected setting

Childcare is offered for the duration of the workshop.
