Political Education for Young Adults: Open Education and Reading Circle:

The IBZ currently offers a weekly educational and reading circle aimed specifically at young adults. With this offer, the IBZ wants to create a space in which central social issues can be discussed openly and political awareness strengthened.

The educational and reading circle offers a mixture of thematic impulses, reading, exchange and joint reflection. The participants deal with a wide variety of political and historical focal points. Topics include racism, fascism and militarism, as well as the history of women's and labor struggles.

The meetings will take place at 6.30 p.m. in room 1 of the IBZ (2. OG) instead. The upcoming dates are dedicated to the following content:

  • 26.03.: The war situation in the Middle East
  • 13.04.: History of the First Trade Unions and the Workers' Movement
  • 20.04.: The History of May 1st and Its Significance to Today
  • 27.04.: Open discussion evenings
  • 04.05.: Right to strike in Germany

The circle is open, registration is not required. All young people who are interested in social developments and are interested in critical debate are invited.
