Course description

In a society where discrimination is commonplace, whether open or subtle, structural or individual, people need to be able to understand complex contexts and act sensitively in pedagogical contexts.

Our training with a focus on intersectionality and the examination of various "isms" (e.g. racism, sexism, classicism) is aimed at all those who want to develop their pedagogical practice in a way that is sensitive to discrimination and who want to better understand structural contexts.

The focus is on practical access: You will deal with central concepts of intersectionality, reflect on your own social positioning and learn how different forms of discrimination interlock and reinforce each other.

The training offers you a practice-oriented toolbox with methods and approaches that you can integrate directly into your pedagogical work.

The aim is to strengthen you in designing learning spaces that are critical of discrimination and to anchor them sustainably in your work context.

The offer is aimed at (prospective) educators, trainers, multipliers as well as all those who are active in educational work, social work or civil society contexts and want to expand their practice intersectionally.

Friday: 3-6 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Participation: 50 € regular | 40€ reduced
