Hurry up and make room for something new!

Bring well-preserved clothes that you no longer wear and discover new favorite items from the treasures of others. Instead of buying new, we exchange what is already there – sustainably, creatively and collectively. In keeping with the current exhibition, which addresses the topic of ‘sharing’ in its various facets, we invite you to the dress exchange party.

Do your clothes have signs of wear or need to be changed?
No problem, together with the Repair Café of Transition Town Bielefeld, they can be repaired directly before or after the exchange – giving new life to the new favourite pieces.

The new fund has potential but there is still something missing?
There will also be an upcycling station where you can give your newly exchanged garments a personal touch with creative changes or individual embellishments.

Whether for exchanging, repairing, designing or simply for browsing and exchanging. Come by and experience how encounters arise when you share.

The event will take place as part of the cooperation project ‘Bridges Building – Creative and Sustainable’. This is a joint project of the educational institution Einschlingen, the IBZ Friedenshaus e.V. and the Kunsthalle Bielefeld. The aim of the project is to bring people from different backgrounds together through common interests. The project aims to help people get in touch with each other beyond their usual social groups.
