How do people experience Bielefeld from different perspectives? How different are the same places in the city used by different people?

During the open city walk ‘Show me your Bielefeld!’, the Kunsthalle Bielefeld, the Bildungsstätte Einschlingen and the IBZ Friedenshaus e.V. invite you to meet, exchange ideas and new perspectives. Creative impulses along the route from the Kunsthalle Bielefeld to the IBZ Friedenshaus stimulate conversations about personal favorite places, everyday experiences and living together in the city. The evening ends at the IBZ Friedenshaus with a meal from saved food.

We are about 90 minutes on the way, the paths between the stations are each about 10 minutes walk.

This is the background:
The walk marks the start of the project ‘Building bridges – creative and sustainable’, with which the participating institutions would like to pool their experiences in order to bring people together regardless of origin, reality or social environment. Together, we want to think about how a lively network of educational and cultural places can contribute to social cohesion and an open, solidarity-based urban society.
