On Friday, 6 November 2026, at 6:00 p.m., we cordially invite you to a reading with the author Moustapha Samb at the IBZ Friedenshaus. This is followed by a conversation with Laura Nana from Cameroon. Admission is free.

In seinem Roman ‘In the skin of an African woman’ Moustapha Samb deals with the diverse realities, experiences and perspectives of women in Africa. It tells of social expectations, gender roles, identity and personal life paths.

Following the reading, the author talks to Laura Nana about the themes of the book and its references to everyday social life. In particular, the focus is on questions relating to migration, self-determination and the importance of personal stories.
